It has always (and I mean always) been the highlight of my day meeting up for a bit of bant as we try our best to get to grips with the Word. God be with all my girls wherever that may be…

Mark and Claire McClurg- firstly thanks for your advice as I tried to track down a publisher. And secondly I say a heartfelt thank-you for your ongoing support, on behalf of Brookeborough Elim I can safely say that we are blessed to have you two :] oh and thank-you to the Church for showing their support, an extra special thank-you goes to the youth. Thanks for their energy and enthusiasm, I hope my book blesses you :]

The “1Way” committee- its been great serving alongside each of you, thanks for picking up the slack when I have to focus on other things. God bless each of you abundantly as you continue to serve Him. Special thanks goes to Ashley Arnold for helping me write articles for the book release, as well as Willie Curry for giving “faith undiluted” a good plug.

Thanks go to all the volunteers in 24-7 Enniskillen- thanks for jumping on the 24-7 bandwagon with me. The prayer room has allowed me to reflect and write so much more freely. A special thank-you goes to Mark Kenyon and Karl Saunders as they have went out of their way to give me a helping hand. Thanks also to 24-7 Prayer Ireland for helping promote “faith undiluted”, it’s appreciated!

Thanks to everyone who has blogged about it, given it a good plug in their Churches, and passed on the news by word of mouth- please keep on at it. I really can’t do this myself, but with everyone rallying around me it has made it so much easier to adapt to. Thank-you :]

Thanks to all the ladies in the Bible bookshop, “Real Life”, I really do appreciate your support and your expert advice when it comes to sales. May your ministry continue to grow…

Oh and of course, I can’t forget to thank Ambassador Productions for publishing my work. Thanks for going out of your way for me and really pushing this project (8 weeks must be some sort of record!) Thanks for reading through my endless emails and making sense of it all. Praying God’s blessing on you, and your work.

And I can’t forget about my family and friends… thanks for your patience, especially when you didn’t have a clue what I was up to for hours on end (typing away frantically)! Thanks for doing your bit in ringing around the relatives, and for buying a few too. Friends, thanks for inspiring me- I really did write this for you…

i’m officially an author :] November 21, 2009

As of today I am officially an official author (or authoress should I say!)  I had another dream of a day today… i got to hold my book for the very first time!

I now have hundreds of my devotionals sitting in my house, if you want to take one, two (or a few) off my hands i’d be more than happy to sell them to you! I’m selling them for £7.00… you can either grab me and I’ll give you one, or you could contact Ambassador (Belfast) directly or pop into a Christian bookshop.  They will be in the bookshops in a couple of weeks DV, if not they will definately be out in time for Christmas…

I can’t stress this enough- PLEASE PLEASE PRAY for this project… Please pray for His protection, as well as His strength as I speak out.  Also I’m not a one-woman band, I can’t take on this take on my own so I would appreciate your help?! If you want you could blog about it or plug it in your Church, tell anyone and everyone about it… if you would like to announce it in your Church or youth group and you want a photo ask and I’ll email it to you… I would really appreciate it if you could help me get the word out as wide as possible, it’s not going to do anyone any good sitting on a shelf!

One final thing, if you want me to visit your Church or youth group to talk about it let me know.  I will try my best to see what I can do… I’ll keep you’s updated… thanks for your prayers, I really do appreciate your support… God bless,  connie :]

i signed on the dotted line! October 12, 2009

hey all! good news, friday the 25th of september i signed on the dotted line so my first book, “faith undiluted” should be out by november!

i signed with Ambassador Publications, they’re an international company based in Belfast as well as Greenville, South Carolina. i met with the CEO, Samuel Lowry, in September so we’ve got a few things sorted out. there’s still an awful lot to do over the next few weeks so your continued prayers would be much appreciated.

also i can’t make any promises but if you want me to visit your Church/youth group to talk about it and/or do a book signing let me know and i’ll try my best to work it out.

not too sure when exactly the book release will be yet but i will keep you posted… connie :]

faith undiluted September 16, 2009

Hey all! I can’t quite believe I’m about to say this… I wrote a book and it’s about to be published!

I’ll be a bit vague about it until after I meet the publisher but I can tell you that it’s a youth devotional entitled “faith undiluted” (I will explain the meaning behind this at a later date). God willing it will be out in time for Christmas!

There’s so much more I could say about the book but I’ll leave it at this for the minute.

I could do with a lot of prayer and practical support! Christmas is just around the corner and there‘s a lot of work to be done before then!

PLEASE PRAY over this, here’s a few prayer points to bear in mind:
please pray that Churches, youth groups, Scripture Unions, and other Christian organisations rally around
pray against the enemies attacks- I don’t want to be dragged down
pray for strength- I have to tour Churches, schools etc. to promote it
pray for energy and enthusiasm- I have a lot to juggle as it is
pray for opportunities in newspapers, magazines etc, and for God to give me the words to say in season
please please please pray for discernment and God’s guidance as I edit it for the final time- I don’t want it to be anything less than the best it can be because it’s for the glory of God

I still intend to be involved in 24-7 Enniskillen, but I won’t be able to carry the same workload, so if there are any volunteers out there get in touch with Enniskillen Youth For Christ and they can pass your message on to me. Email eyfc@btinternet.com

I can’t stress enough how much I would appreciate your prayers, they really do make all the difference! And also a big thank-you to all who have supported me this far, I am forever thankful!
